It is a procedure by which a missing tooth can be replaced without fixed partial denture ( Bridge) in which adjacent teeth needs to be trimmed. Implant is a screw made up of titanium which is inserted in bone at the site of missing tooth. Implant act as root of the tooth. Above this implant a ceramic cap is placed which aesthetically and functionally acts like a natural tooth. Implant stays for life time if hygiene is maintained properly.
